One Pot Egg Biriyani

There will always be a debate whether egg is vegetarian or non-vegetarian, but this biriyani is no doubt an easy to make weekend recipe that anybody can make.

One-pot Egg Biriyani

Ingredients
  

Dry Masalas
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 tsp Whole black pepper
  • 4-6 Cloves
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Shahi Jeera
Main Ingredients
  • 5 Eggs hard boiled
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 20 grams Butter Optional
  • 3 Onions Large slit
  • 3 Green Chillies Slit
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic Paste
  • 2 Tomatoes finely chopped
  • tsp Chilli powder
  • tsp Corriander powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3 tbsp Curd or Yogurt
  • 2 cups Rice Soaked
  • 3 cups Water
  • Salt as needed
  • Mint and Corriander Handful

Method
 

1) Boil the eggs, peel them, and keep aside. Heat oil and butter in a pan.
    2) Add the whole dry spices and sauté until aromatic. Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
      3) Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears. Add tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.
        4) Add curd (yogurt) and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes. Add the boiled eggs, mint, and coriander leaves.
          5) Mix well, then add rice and water. Cook on medium flame until the rice is fully cooked.
            6) Egg biryani is ready—serve hot and enjoy! 🍚🥚
