- Soak the toor dal in water for 30 minutes. In a pressure cooker , add oil and amla and saute them for a minute.
- Add in the soaked dal along with the water. Add turmeric and green chillies.
- Close the lid and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. Once the pressure is released, open and mash the dal.
- Add salt and water according to your consistency
- Now, heat a pan and add the galric and tempering seeds. Let them splutter and add curry leaves.
- Once the curry leaves turn aromatic, pour in the mashed dal and enjoy.
