Spinach Pachadi

A delicious and nutritious chutney that can be eaten with rice or roti. Spinach is usually not many peoples favourite food but this recipe make you fall in love with spinach.

Ingredients
  

For Tempering
Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Urad dal – 1 tablespoons
Channa Dal – 2 tablespoons
Dried Red Chillies – 1 or 2
Spinach Pachadi Main Ingredients
Spinach – 350 grams
Onions – 4 large or 6 small
Garlic – 7-8 large cloves or 10 small cloves
Chilli powder – 1-2 teaspoons
Salt – 1-2 teaspoons depending on your taste

Method
 

1) Wash the spinach in water and keep it aside.
    2) In a hot pan, add oil and the tempering ingredients. After they splutter, add onions, garlic, chilli powder and salt. Let them cook and cool them down.
      3) After it cools down, grind them in a mixer.
        4) In the same pan, cook the spinach. Once the spinach is cooked, add the grinded mixture and let it cook for another 5 minutes and it is ready to serve.
